Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator

We are looking for someone that wants to contribute to and shape the voice and soul of our 2 brands (CAMP Collection & The2Bandits) by making beautiful content & then curating it on our social properties (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr)  

For content production, you will create content yourself, use our lookbooks, make partnerships with brands and influencers, and find new photographers.

To succeed, you have a passion for creating, are in tune with fashion and cultural trends, understand our brands, and are digitally adept.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating content for social media.
  • Planning, executing, and scheduling posts.
  • Styling in-house jewelry and clothing for shoots.
  • Collaborating with marketing & PR teams for collection launches, sales, and contests.
  • Identifying and connecting with brands & influencers for gifting and collaborations.

Qualifications:

  • Great eye & on brand.
  • Be able to lead or contribute to projects.
  • Ambitious, organized, and detailed   

Experience:

  • Art or Bachelor’s Degree

Skills or interests:

  • Photography or videography
  • Writing social media or website copy
  • Photoshop
  • Google Docs and Dropbox
  • Graphic Design

Position is full time. Salary plus benefits.

CAMP Collection Internship Programs 

CAMP Collection is seeking interns to work on content creation for social media, blogs, & websites. These interns should all be obsessed with the CAMP brand as well as the desire to learn more about running a grass roots company.

Commitment would be 1-2 days a week, but we are open to more days. The internship is unpaid, but we can sign off for school credit. Interns must be local, we are in the heart of the Mission in San Francisco, CA.

Social Media Intern

We love social media and everything that comes along with the territory. If you vibe with CAMP Collection and your wardrobe already lends itself to the brand, this is a great internship for you. You must have a good eye for all things retro and vintage, of course.

Daily tasks may include:

  • Thinking of new concepts for social content creation and ways to expand our audience/reach
  • Social media analytics reports (we will train you on this)
  • Influencer research and outreach
  • Managing our channels: scheduling posts, pinning, posting, tweeting, insta-stories
  • Generating blog posts
  • Styling product on models and flat lays

Skills

  • Obsessed with social media and the CAMP brand 
  • Understanding of (and the user difference between) Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr, Twitter
  • Staying ahead of social media trends
  • Must be a team player and very organized
  • Knowledge of vintage fashion
  • Self starter
  • Understanding of social media (particularly Instagram)   

Preferred: 
Copywriting experience, especially fashion or Instagram languages
Have an existing on-brand wardrobe and props to pull from for shoots

Graphic Design Intern

If you vibe with the CAMP Collection brand and want to get some hands-on design experience then this is the internship for you. You will work closely with the graphic designer and marketing team to design weekly assets for on-brand marketing communications across web, social, and email.

Daily tasks include:

  • Concept and execute new sliders for the website (in collaboration with the marketing team)
  • Creating GIFs for social media and emails
  • Designing weekly email blasts for various marketing initiatives
  • Resizing images for website, and image uploads
  • Photo editing: product shots and social content

Skills:

  • Proficient in Adobe software - mainly Photoshop (Illustrator, Indesign are nice to haves)   
  • Understanding of social media
  • Basic understanding of designing for web/mobile
  • Knowledge of the fashion industry, or desire to learn

Preferred: 
- Photo-editing capabilities, familiar with Lightroom
- Knowledge of the Mailchimp platform
- Fashion copywriting experience (even if informal)

Business Operations Intern

CAMP Collection is a self-funded grass roots business. Our team is super small which lends itself to learning a ton. If you want to learn the ins and outs of running the CAMP business, this is a great place to start.

Daily tasks include:

  • Order fulfillment: online customer order and large wholesale orders
  • Inventory Management: inventory counting and organizing 
  • Reporting: reports on best selling items, out of stock items, etc (can train you on this)
  • Production assisting: could be asked to help production tasks, like dropping off raw materials or picking up products or patterns

Skills

  • Brand knowledge: knowledge of brand and products
  • Detail oriented  
  • Problem solver
  • Tech saavy

Preferred: Retail knowledge, or excel.
